How often should I get facials?
It depends! Some services (like the MandiClear Peel w Vitamin A Booster) can only be done every 2 months, while some services (like the Oxygen Facial) can be done once a week. Generally, if you're looking to target a specific skin concern and are looking for big results, getting a service every 2-4 weeks is best. If you're just looking for relaxation and maintenance, every 4-8 weeks is recommended.
You can always book a free 30 minute consultation to come up with a treatment plan with your esthetician, or visit our contact page with any specific questions.

Do chemical peels or advanced services hurt?
No! Or at least, they shouldn't. It's very common during chemical peels to feel a tingling, warming or itching sensation (this will depend on the peel and your skin). Your esthetician will always check in with you during any service to make sure you are comfortable.
Some services, like microneedling, are going to be a bit more intensive than a traditional relaxing facial. Any discomfort during treatment will be minimized with either numbing cream, handheld fan or cold facial globes (depending on the service).
It's important to consider if some discomfort is worth the results for you, or if you would rather just relax and be pampered!

Do I need have a clean face before getting a facial?
Nope! Every facial service starts off with deep cleansing the skin, and specific makeup removing cleansers are available if you come to a service with makeup on.
Is it OK for me to get a facial before a special event?
Absolutely! Most facials will leave you with a beautiful, hydrated glow. Some of our services are even meant to be done before a special event, like the dermaplane facial, the beyond botox facial, or the firming and wrinkle repair facial.
